Welcome to Eriand Poodles. I am a small hobby/show breeder of top quality miniature and standard poodles. I have been involved with poodles since I was a young child. I am located on Long Island, New York, about 35-40 minutes east of Manhattan.  I have carefully selected what I feel to be some of the best breeding lines in the country for my breeding program. I look at disposition and health first! All of our adults have had complete genetic testing before they are in our breeding program. Our poodle pups are outstanding! They have excellent temperaments and health. All of my dogs are house dogs; they do not live in a kennel. They are all family members loved and spoiled!

     The puppies are born in my bedroom or dining room and graduate to a central location in our home at three weeks old. We handle them every day from birth to be well socialized.  They are exposed to normal household noises, and experiences, introduced to other dogs, children, and our house cat.

      Before a puppy leaves our home for yours, it will have had its shots up to date, been wormed, and been examined by my veterinarian. He/she will have already started a grooming routine. You will receive a health record and a health guarantee.

      I am available for your questions all the time. All companion puppies are sold on a spay/neuter contract with a limited AKC registration. Puppies with limited registration cannot be shown in conformation or used for breeding...but can be shown in any AKC performance event. My goal in breeding poodles is to produce poodles that are beautiful specimens of their breed with wonderful temperaments and health.  Check out the American Kennel Club website:( www.akc.org ) and the Poodle Club of America (www.poodleclubofamerica.org )  to better understand the breed and what to look for in a breeder, and a puppy.

The most important quality in any poodle is its temperament. It is this quality that makes a loving and trusted companion.  Poodles are among the most intelligent of all breeds, they are fun loving, easily trained, athletic, great with children and at the same time, make excellent watch dogs.

      For those of you who are allergic to other dogs, the poodle is for you! Poodles do not shed. Poodles are hypo-allergenic. Most people with allergies to dogs do very well with a poodle. If you want the most unbelievable companion in the world, treat yourself to a poodle!
